Wine Cellar Database allows you to customize your wine cellar with total flexibility. Choose from a selection of hundreds of thousands of wines online or load it from your own spreadsheet files or Cellar Tracker. Updated for new iPhone and iPad sizes.

Purchases Permanent:
-In-app purchases bought on any iPad or iPhone are available for your other iPads or iPhones when you install this app on them.

Wine Cellar Database app good for

Ive been using this database for over a year now, upgraded to the 250 one. What I love is when I go wine shopping all I need to do is bring this list up and see what my favorites are, as I rate all my red wines using their personal score. This way I dont waste my money buying wines I really dont like. I currently run it on my iPad and iPhone, they make it easy to sync the two devices.

I have a >1000 bottle collection, and many of the other apps cannot handle that many. I got the unlimited version, and it has no problem keeping track of all the bottles. The online database is updated regularly, and I am often surprised by the breadth of labels and varietals it contains. The only thing I wish I could do is go into a bit more detail about location of bottles in my five wine fridges - shelf number and front or back is as much as I need. I can highly recommend this app for large or small collectors.

Reasonably simple to use and intuitive . Has room for comments and the online search is invaluable.

This program does a good job of managing your wine collection. It an can be as detailed as you probably ever want, but not required. Only feature I would add would be ability to store multiple bottles off same wine in different places.

first, a very good note on ergonomy. even if not translated to other langages than english, allows to rename and configure data base fields... and there are a lot of proposed fields ! easy to enter vines, and has a pretty good database of known domains. i would make few suggestions to enhance it and make it perfect : when entering region and color, should only propose related appellations. should distinguish dry white wine and soft white wine in color, as category is really different when searching Wine. could also add some aperitifs category, but this one can be entered as others. finally, would add capability to make at least a dual criteria selection, such as year of maturity + wine color. typ. thats the kind of research i make for selecting the wine i want to open. last but not least, import/export from/to excel is a real must (i didnt try it but it is in ui). a very good pay model also : you can test it up to 10 bottles, then pay depending on the size of your cave... suitable model for me ! bravo for this app which has understood the basic needs of cave database ! at least !

Some bad moments

Would be nice for the specs to be automatically filled in for the particular wines.

This version is full of problems No color No region What happened?

After reinstalling, system does not remember my purchases. I deleted the program saving everything in Cloud. After reinstalling, I tried to copy all data back to devise, but without any success. It asking to purchase space before copying. But I already purchased it.

Ive been waiting for the ability to link wines with the online database.

I didnt think the interface was intuitive at first, but the more I use it the more I like the app. I especially like the user defined database fields.

Love this app - great for finding great wines as well as logging in the ones I really enjoy. Use it at your favorite wine shop and greatly reduce your risk of taking home a bad bottle. As they say, "lifes to short...."
